Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F45613-03-Q-A001 is issued as a request for quote utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. North American Industry Classification System Code 333120. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside. The contractor shall provide cassette brushes for snow plows as listed on the attached Pricing Schedule, which is incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: http://www.eps.gov/. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), applies to this acquisition. Offerors may submit their offer via mail or fax. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote to the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the lowest total price.
