Description
VESSEL REQUIRED: U.S. or foreign flag self sustaining, container vessel; minimum of 25 MT lifting capacity; suitable to move approximately 206 20 ft. containers of ammo as full or part cargo. Minimum speed of 13 Knots laden in moderate weather is required. Vessel will load 50 containers in the United Kingdom, discharge the containers in Germany and then load 206 containers at the same German port and return to the same United Kingdom port to discharge the containers. Owner to confirm compliance with IMDG/49 CFR HAZMAT Regulations and potential shortfalls (e.g. A-60 Bulkhead) shall be identified. Special Requirements:  Max LOA: 160 M  Owners to furnish detailed drawings with vessel?s full particulars and capacity plans; detailed drawings and stowage plans.  If part cargo, owners to provide detailed plans with cargo stowage locations and the order of vessel?s ports of call and ETA load and discharge ports and to forward to MTMC same 72 working hours prior to arrival at load ports.  Vessel shall have sufficient lashing gear, cargo tie-down points and adequate lashing points; appropriate spreader bars and lifting gear.  Loading/Discharging will be performed by using ship?s gear at all times 2. CARGO DESCRIPTION: approximately 206 20 ft containers of ammo (quantity of 50 from United Kingdom to Germany and quantity 206 from Germany to United Kingdom) (+/-10% chop) not including 25% broken stow; HAZMAT Class 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 to be moved as follows: United Kingdom to Germany: 50 TEUs Germany to United Kingdom: 206 TEUs Up to 4 Supercargoes will be required for the entire voyage. Supercargoes may be armed. 2a. Load: Free In 2b. Discharge: Free Out 3. Loading Port(s)/Place(s): First Load Port: United Kingdom (available to load 21 October 2002) Second Load Port: Germany 4. Laytime: 4-Days Total SSHINC 5. Discharging Port(s)/Place(s): First Discharge Port: Germany Second Discharge Port: United Kingdom 6.
