Description
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a fuel truck parking facility at USCG Air Station, Clearwater, (Pinellas County) FL. The work includes the following: Construct a concrete parking area for five fuel trucks; construct asphalt access roads; install security fencing; install site lighting; install an oily water separator for the storm water run off; construct drainage ditches connecting to an existing infiltration pond; and expand the size of the existing infiltration pond. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 234110. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipts of $28.5 million. Estimated construction price range is $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. . THIS SOLICITATION PACKAGE, WHEN READY, WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ITS ENTIRETY AT HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV UNDER THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be posted electronically at this website. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises : The Department of Transportation ( DOT) Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSBDU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guarantee on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
