Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. The required product is a Cooper Power System Switch, 4-Way, KPSRV 1031-KL-7-KL-8, 600 Amp, High Voltage, 3 Phase, SF6 Gas Insulated, 304L Stainless steel with H 12-600a source bushing, 2-3 Phase Vac, 2-TP6 VI Controls with 3 Phase SE trip. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Cooper Power System, Cooper Power System is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement due to a specific frame set up. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, and technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-0009 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5063, business size of $5.0M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 421610. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 23 Oct 02 at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/.
