Dawson (253) 966-3500 DESC: Sources sought and comments requested on plan to provide management, operation, repair, replacement, and maintenance functions for the Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) and the Multi-Purpose Target Range (MPTR) Yakima Firing Center, Yakima, Washing ton. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to perform all work described in the contract (except as otherwise specifically provided by the Government). Performance shall include maintenance of facilities and sy stems to include metal working, interior electrical, instruments, carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing and pipefitting, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration services; maintenance and repair of exterior electrical distribution system; operation and maintenance of heating system; operation and maintenance of water distribution system; maintenance of the septic field; collection and disposal of refuse; pest control services; maintenance and repair of grounds, landscaping and surfaced areas. It also i ncludes construction, emplacement, maintenance, repair and storage of target devices. The Government intends to award a Cost Contract with Award Incentive Terms. Contract period consists of Phase-In Period (1 February 2003 ? 28 February 2003), Base Period (1 March 2003 ? 28 February 2004) with four one-year option periods. The proposed procurement is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns, however, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SB concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicating interest in the acquisition by providing in writing to the contracting office above, evidence of their size status and capability to perfo rm the full range of work identified above. If adequate interest is not received by SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Concern means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business withi n the United States, including, but not limited to an individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, association or cooperative. The SB size standard is any concern including its affiliates with average annual sales or receipts for its preceding thr ee fiscal years not in excess of $20 million. NAIC Code: 56121.
