Description
NA THE FOLLOWING IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The U.S. Army is seeking interested sources and concepts regarding Aircraft Maintenance and Related Services, to support the Aviation Training Brigade, at the US Army Aviation Center (USAAVNC), US Army Aviation Technical Test Center (USAATTC), US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory and other activities at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The new contract will provide unit, intermediate, limited depot and depot maintenance, as well as related services on rotary wing aircraft. The functions to be contracted include: maintenance, repair, limited depot maintenance and manufacture for aircraft , aircraft components, special equipment and aeronautical support equipment, other installation services, and data processing services. Data processing services include a substantial automation requirement in direct support of aircraft maintenance, i.e., the production, supply, personnel, and cost accounting systems. Other installation services include several requirements, such as recovery of downed aircraft, inventory management, and ammunition hauling and loading. All efforts are to be accomplished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A draft PWS is available for review and comments. Each interested source should include business size, a synopsis of their capabilities and past experience, in the performance of this effort, or similar effort, in writing. In addition, request comments on draft PWS, including ideas and concepts that woul d streamline the effort and result in cost savings and improved efficiencies.
