Description

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the following 14 items. (1) Omnifax, L630/L8500, Toner - Qty: 400 each; (2) Omnifax, L630/L8500, Drum - Qty: 50 each; (3) Omnifax, L620/L621, Toner - Qty: 5000 each; (4) Omnifax, L620/L621 Drum - Qty: 700 each; (5) HP2500, C4843A, Magenta Toner - Qty: 2500 each; (6) HP2500, C4803A, Yellow Printhead - Qty: 250 each; (7) HP2500, C4844A, Black Toner - Qty: 4500 each; (8) HP2500, C4800A, Black Printhead - Qty: 2000 each; (9) HP2500, C4841A, Cyan Toner - Qty: 3500 each; (10) HP2500, C4801A, Cyan Printhead - Qty: 1500 each; (11) HP4050N, C4127A, Toner - Qty: 2500 each; (12) Xerox, Docuprint N2125, Toner - Qty: 1500 each; (13) Xerox, Docuprint N2125, Maintenance Kit - Qty: 250 each; and (14) Sharp, FO6700, Fax Machine Toner - Qty: 250 each. Brand name or equal may be quoted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number KCAO-02-I-03 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This Invitation for Bid and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-04. All line items will be delivered to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, U.S. Department of Agriculture Warehouse, 9240 Troost, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131. Prices quoted shall include cost of delivery in accordance with FAR 52.247-34, F. O. B. Destination (Nov 1991). Date of delivery is within 30 days ARO. The provisions of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerers - Commercial Items (Oct 2000); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Feb 2002); and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (May 2002) apply to this acquisition. Include FAR 52.212-3, Offer of Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (July 2002) with your quotation. FAR and FAC clauses are available on the Internet Website http://www.arnet.gov/far. Signed and dated bids must be submitted to U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, Kansas City Administrative Office, Administrative Services Division, Contracting and Acquisition Branch, Attn: Sharon Dowse, 6501 Beacon Drive, Kansas City, Missouri, 64133. Bids must be received on or before 4:00 p.m., CST, October 24, 2002. Bids may be faxed to (816) 926-1782. Award will be made to the lowest price, responsive, responsible bidder who demonstrates compliance with the requirements of this solicitation. Bidders shall include both unit price and total price. Vendors are not required to submit quotes on every line item. The Government may award to multiple vendors. The Government may request samples from offerors in the competitive range before award. The NAICS for this procurement is 422120. This is 100% set aside for small business.
