Description
NA Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is seeking local companies capable of performing machine and fabrication work to supplement in-house capacities and capabilities. Work will primarily consist of machine and fabrication work to support combat vehicle and weapons system overhaul and repair ongoing at ANAD. Work may include partially machined parts requiring additional operations. Historically, machine and fabrication work required to support production at ANAD has a short delivery schedule. At this time no speci fic work has been identified for this effort, however, ANAD?s work is directly related to the demand placed on our military and is subject to change on short notice. The processes required are: Machining: Turning, Vertical Turning, Milling 3-axis, Milli ng, multi axis, Drilling & Tapping, Sawing, Surface Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, Honing and Lapping, Gear and Spline Cutting, Broaching, Wire EDM, Ram EDM, Water Jet, Coordinate Measuring, Misc. Hand work: clean, de-burr, file, polish, layout etc. Weld ing/Cutting: Brazing, Silver Solder, Solder, Arc, EB (Electron Beam), Laser, Oxy-Fuel (acetylene, MAPP, LNG etc.), Plasma, MIG/TIG, Resistance, Robotic, Controlled Atmosphere, Forming and Bending. Heat Treatment: Oven, Controlled Atmosphere, Quench, Fla me, Vacuum, Induction, Laser, Nitride, Carburize, Case. Sheet Metal: Shearing, Shape cutting (laser, plasma and nibbling), Bending, Rolling, Punching, Stamping, Forming, Assembly, Pattern (layout). Metal Finish: Anodize, Alodine, Zinc, Zinc Chromate, An ti-Friction, Hard Chrome, Ornamental Chrome, Nickel (electro-less), Phosphate. Miscellaneous Processes: Forging, Casting, Pattern Making, Extrusion, Sand Blasting, Chemical Cleaning, De-greasing, Preservation, Assembly, Disassembly. NDT (Non-Destructive Testing): Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, X-ray, Spectral Analysis, and Hardness Testing. Interested companies are requested to provide brochures, literature, published price lists, and fabrication capabilities of your company to include m aximum machine and fabrication size, not later than 14 days after synopsis appears in the CBD.
