- Description
- Provide all material, labor, equipment and transportation necessary for the replacement or upgrading of fuel storage tank systems as specified at Coast Guard Group Port Angeles, Station Quillayute River, and Station Neah Bay. The work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. GROUP PORT ANGELES, PORT ANGELES, WA:(a) Demolish the existing 1,000-gallon diesel fuel tank, its foundation, underground utility box and piping, the 10-gallon day tank and all fuel piping. Provide a temporary fuel supply tank system to the Exchange Building during replacement. Provide a new 1,000-gallon double wall concrete vault tank, concrete foundation, and new fuel piping. Connect the new piping directly to the boilers and put the system in operation; (b) Demolish the existing 250-gallon single wall diesel tank and foundation. Provide a 150-gallon secondary containment tank on the floor at the same location. Modify, test, and reconnect existing fuel piping to the new tank; (c) Provide a leak detection gauge on the 260-gallon secondary containment gasoline; (d) Provide a leak detection gauge on the 2,014- gallon secondary containment diesel tank; (e) Provide a spill containment box, a fuel limiting valve, an overfill alert gauge, and a leak detection gauge on the 500-gall secondary containment diesel tank; (f) Provide a leak detection gauge on the 1,003-gallon secondary containment diesel tank; (g) Provide a leak detection gauge on the 500-gallon secondary containment diesel tank; (h) Provide a fuel limiting valve and a leak detection gauge on the 1,000-gallon secondary containment diesel tank; (i) Provide a fuel limiting valve, a leak detection gauge, and an overfill alert gauge on the 500-gallon secondary containment diesel tank. Remove rust and repaint the tank. Secure the tank to the pad. 2. STATION QUILLAYUTE RIVER, LA PUSH, WA: (a) Demolish the existing 2,000-gallon diesel fuel tank and its foundation. Provide a new 2,000-gallon double wall concrete vault tank and foundation and reconnect all piping to the new tank and put the system in operation. Provide a mechanical overfill alert gauge and a powered leak detection system and connect it to the existing leak detection console mounted on the Pump House wall; (b) Provide a fuel limiting vale, a mechanical overfill alert gauge, and a leak detection system and connect it to the existing leak detection console mounted on the Pump House wall; (c) Provide a fuel limiting valve and a leak detection gauge on the 250-gallon secondary containment diesel tank. 3. STATION NEAH BAY, NEAH BAY, WA: (a) Provide a fuel limiting valve, and overfill alert gauge, and a leak detection gauge on the 3,000-gallon secondary containment diesel tank. Remove rust and repaint the tank. Secure the tank to the pad; (b) Provide a fuel limiting valve on the secondary containment gasoline tank. Provide a pump and a double wall piping/dispending system to the fixed pier. 4. General Electrical Work: Provide all electrical as required for power and control of equipment installed by this contract. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 237120. Size Standards is $27.5. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
