Description

The Civil Air Patrol, a United States Air Force auxiliary, seeks sources for airborne HyperSpectral Imaging (HSI) System (HSI sensor and high resolution panchromatic sensor) and a severable companion buy of laptop based Visual Computing Network (VCN). Missions include search and rescue, counter drug, disaster relief and homeland security. Cessna 206 Stationair or Gippsland GA8 Airvan are HSI airborne platform. Basic sensor spectral range 500-1000nm with possible addition of SWIR (1000-2500nm) for temperature sensing. Data recorded for post-flight analysis. Real-time target detection coupled with GPS/INS location readout. Compatible with aircraft 12V power system. VCN visualization software along with 30-15 meter satellite imagery (GEO TIFF format) and maps/aeronautical charts broken down by state and loaded on CAP furnished laptops for 52 CAP Wings, including Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.
