Description
The VA Medical Center, Bath New York is seeking professional architect/engineering firms to perform investigative services, design complete project to replace boiler No. 7, in building 31. Work shall include site investigation, cost estimate and bid documents (contract drawings and specifications). Also included are construction period services and site visits. Design shall include removal of existing 20,000 lb/hr. boiler and controls and installation of a new 10,000 lb/hr. boiler with controls and accessories. Also to be included is the replacement of controls for adjacent 20,000 lb/hr. boiler. New boiler economizers may be included with this project as well. Building roof removal (partial) and replacement will be required to accomplish this project and shall be incorporated in design. The following evaluation criteria will be used during the A/E selection process: 1. Specialized experience of the firm to perform the work required. 2. Capability of the firm to perform the work within required time frame. 3. Past Performance. 4. Specific experience and qualifications of the proposed personnel assigned to the project design team. 5. Geographic location of the firms working office in relationship to the renovation site. Firms desiring consideration must have a working office located within 165 miles of Bath, New York city limits. All interested A/E firms are invited to submit 254=92s and 255=92s. THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSE=92S.
