- 15?REPAIR. SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION: BOEING. Various E-3 Aircraft repair to include repair of Antenna Radio Frequency Processor, Broadcast Intel, ESM Group B, and Removable Media Assembly in support of modification program. Period of performance will include One year Basic and 4 One Year Option Periods. OC-ALC/LPDBB TINKER AFB OK 73145-3015. For additional information contact Ray Williams/PSKAD/405-739-4487. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The approximate issue date will be 11 Nov 2002. The approximate response date will be 12 Dec 2002. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Boeing Aerospace/ CAGE: OLRY9. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
