Description
PA Government Services, Inc., Procurement Services Agent (PSA) to Alexandria Water General Authority (AWGA) in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S. firms only who can qualify through experience in providing similar equipment. The required equipment consists of: ultrasonic flowmeters; pressure and flow recorders; pressure gauge testers; power and motor analyzers; bearing heater; analytical balances; pipe locators; leak detection instruments; pipe drilling machines; drilling/tapping accessories; pipe cutting saws; valve turning machines; and electric generators; to be furnished and delivered to CIP Destination AWGA, Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt. Bidder must have representation for supply of spare parts and service in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The successful bidder(s) will sign a fixed price Host Country Contract (HCC) with AWGA. Payment will be made in U.S. dollars by USAID/Egypt through a direct Letter of Commitment. The IFB document is expected as soon as possible after publication of this notice. Bidders will be given 30 days from the date of issuance of the IFB to prepare and submit their bids. A public bid opening will be held at the time, date and address specified in the IFB document. Late bids will not be considered. Bids must remain valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 120 days from the date set for bid opening. PA Government Services, Inc., the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the U.S. Agency for International Development encourage, and welcome in this activity the participation, to the fullest extent possible, of minorities and women both as individuals and as members of contracting or subcontracting firms.
