Description

NA In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and its Supplemental Handbook, the Capital District Contracting Center will be issuing solicitation DADW35-02-R-0022 on or about 25 November 2002 for Directorate of Industrial Operations functions at Fort George G. Mead e, Maryland. This solicitation is being issued for the functions of Engineer Plans and Services, Roads and Grounds, Facility Maintenance and Repair, Supply and Services and Equipment Maintenance.This action is unrestricted. The apparent successful offeror will compete with the Government in-house Most Efficient Organization (MEO). The solicitation will not result in contract award of Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that incl udes a 60 day transition period, a ten month base year with four (4) one year option periods, if exercised. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the world wide web. When the solicitation is issued a website will be announced. No paper cop ies of the solicitation or any amendments will be mailed. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodically check the web for amendments or other updates. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled or published v ia solicitation amendment. The website for the sollication will be announced on or about 25 November 2002.
