NA DESC: 1240-01-048-0779, Part Number 11729516, The item to procure is an Assembly of three major components: P/N 11748004 Retainer machined aluminum material: P/N 10556051 Reticle Lens with etching on lenses per print instructions: P/N 11748006 Light Sou rce Assembly containing (2) P/N 11748012 Lamp, Radioluminous filled with tritium and P/N 11748005 Cell, aluminum machined part. Requirements are 165 Each, Cell Assembly, Optical. FOB is destination. For use on the M119 and M198 Howitzers. Estimated issu e date is 07 November 2002. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable t o maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license or equivalent is required. The Technical Data Package (TDP) will be available on the WEB. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY03 requirement.
