Description
NA THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (NAE) is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement (SSA) for manufacturers/suppliers of Submersible Pressure Transducers (SPT) for measurement of hydrostatic pressure (i.e., water levels) in embankment earthen dams. Specifications: The SPT sought shall be a milivolt, milliamp, SDI-12, or vibrating-wire type transducers, with vented and non-vented cable options, for fully submersible hydrostatic pressure measurement. The transducer s shall be available in several pressure ranges up to 100 psi or greaterr, and have a minimum 2 times overpressure rating with a 0.1% full-scale accuracy. The transducer shall be temperature compensated from -20 to 80 0C, and have a housing made from sta inless steel or titanium. The transducer diameter shall be less than 0.70 inches. The transducer shall be designed to connect to standard data loggers made by Sutron Inc., Campbell Scientific, and others for field installation. Transducer manufacturers are requested to submit information on more than one model that meets the specifications above, i.e. if a manufacturer makes two different sizes or models of transducer(s) meeting the above specs., both of which are less than 0.70 inches. Manufacturers sh all submit catalog cuts, written specifications, drawings, and 3 customer references with long-term (greater than three years) successful field installations. Firm's submission should also indicate whether the firm is a Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, W oman-Owned Small Business, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business.
