Description
NA THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement (SSA) for manufacturers/suppliers of Digital Earthquake Recorders (DER) for measurement of seismic Strong Motion accelerations. Specifications: The DER sought shall be fully integrated, digital, self-contained three channel General: The US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (NAE) is issuing a Sources force-balance accelerometer. The unit shall have a full scale range o f 2g acceleration, have 18 bit resolution at 200 samples per second (sps), have a trigger bandwidth of at least 0.2 to 21 Hz, have a sensor bandwidth of DC to 200 Hz, and a sensor dynamic range of at least 150 Decibels (dB). The unit shall have a pre-even t memory, selectable up to 60 seconds (for 3 channels at 200 sps), with selectable alarm thresholds from 0.001% to 100% full scale. The unit shall have a post-event time of 0 to 60,000, selectable in seconds. The unit shall have PCMCIA storage, connectiv ity for RS-232, telephone, and internet (optional). The unit shall be capable of operating in the environmental conditions -20 C to 70 C with a humidity range of 0-100% RH. The unit shall have GPS synchronization capability to within 1 millisecond of UTC . The unit shall have RS-232 connectibility for programming via laptop, and come with windows-based setup software. The unit shall have ASCII and SUDS data output options. The unit shall be 12V DC powered with AC charger inputs or onboard charger. Man ufacturers shall submit catalog cuts, written specifications, drawings, and 3 customer references with long-term (greater than three years) successful field installations. Firm's submission should also indicate whether the firm is Large, Small, Small Disad vantaged, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business.
