Description

NA This is an 8(a) competitive procurement. The project consists of continuation of earthwork of Norco Bluffs (Zone 2, Phase 2) Streambank Stabilization Project, buttress fill from 100-year flood level (top of existing soil cement) to the top of the existin g bluff. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, Channel Construction, $28.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government intends to issue this solicitation as Internet only. No additional media (compact disks, floppy disks, faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the fo llowing address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after Solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.spl.usace.army.mil. All bidders are required to check the Los Angeles District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. All contractor are encouraged to visit the Army?s Single Face to Industry website at http://acquisition.army. mil/default.htm to view other business opportunities across the Army. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government Contract award. To register, the CCR Internet address is: https://www.ccr. disc.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/ccradd/asp. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must register to be placed on the plan holders? list. If you are not registered, the United States Government is not responsible to providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. Bidders shall register themselves on the Internet. Each bidder, after registering for this solicitation should verify his or her name appears on the Plan Holders? List for this project. Plans and Specs w ill be available on or about 14 NOV 2002. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has determined that, for this procurement, competition will be restricted to eligible 8(a) contractors serviced by the Santa Ana District Office of the SBA which have a NAIC S code 237 among their approved NAICS codes.
