Description

NA Solicitation No. DAMD17-03-R-0003 will be ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 08 November 2002 and proposals will be due on or about 09 December 2002. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments ON OR ABOUT 08 November 2002 at the following website: www.usamraa.army.mil, click on Products, then Solicitations. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr. gov or by calling (888)227-2423. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. See Note 1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561612 with a size standard of $10.5 million in average annual receipts. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, vehicles and other items and service necessary to peform: (i) Everyday of the year, 24 hour unarmed guard service at Building 503 Front Door (Main Guard Site, 1 Guar d Position). (ii) Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, except for official holidays, 8 hour unarmed guard service at Building 503 Loading Dock Area (Guard Point, 1 Guard Position). (iii) Monday through Friday, 5 days each week, except for federal holida ys, 8 hour unarmed guard service at Building 511 Front Door (Personnel entrance and exit locations, 1 Guard Position). All guard posts are located at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR)/Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC), Forest Glenn Ann ex, Silver Spring MD. Proposals will be evaluated on a Best Value basis and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price to include a Base Year and Four Option Years.
