- The Financial Management Modernization Program (FMMP) will hold an Industry Day on November 19, 2002. This is the second in a series of Industry Days where FMMP will engage industry to provide information about the Financial Management Enterprise Architecture (FMEA) processes and products, as well as strategies for the FMMP path ahead, to help incorporate industry?s best ideas into the program and equip the contractor community for robust competition at the appropriate time. This Industry Day will be held in the Forum of the Crystal City Marriott, 1999 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA. Registration is from 7:30 am - 8:30 am, and the agenda will run from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Dr. Dov Zakheim, the Under Secretary of Defense, Comptroller, plans to address Industry Day participants at 10:00 am. The purpose of the event is to briefly describe updates to the FMMP strategy, and then focus on describing the FMEA products delivered to date (which are available over the Internet at http://www.dfas.mil/library/fmmp/). The Agenda will be posted when it becomes available, and will be e-mailed to those already registered at the time it is posted. There is no cost for attending this Industry Day. Attendance is limited to the first 500 persons to register. Attendees must pre-register by downloading the separate registration form accompanying this notice, completing the registration form, and sending it to HQ-OSD-FMMP-IndustryDay@DFAS.mil prior to 5:00 pm on November 15, 2002. Each registrant will receive a confirmation that contains their registration number. Each vendor is limited to three attendees. Vendors are encouraged to internally coordinate their proposed attendance list prior to registration, to enable appropriate representation without exceeding the registration limit. All registrants will be provided conference materials following the Industry Day. If you do not wish to attend the Industry Day, but you do want to be sent a copy of the conference materials, please indicate by checking the appropriate box on the registration form.
