Description

THIS IS A SOLICIATION ANNOUNCEMENT - SOLICITATION #52-YABC-2-66019, A-76 SURVEY - TEMPORARY CLERICAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL FOR THE BUREAU OF CENSUS The Acquisition Division of the United States Census Bureau (USCB) intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain the services of a contractor to provide and manage qualified clerical staff to the Census Bureau to meet fluctuating clerical staffing requirements that range from lower level clerical support within USCB's executive offices to mail room support. This competition will determine the best value commercial offer from industry, which will then be compared to the cost of the Government's Most Efficient Organization (MEO). The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to 8(a) certified contractors. Award will be based upon the Best Value to the Government through an evaluation of the technical and cost proposals. The release of the final Request for Proposal (RFP) is November 5, 2002. The due date for submitting proposals is December 20, 2002. Estimated performance period for this effort is five (5) years. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561320. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents; and verifying the number of amendments issued prior to the due date for bids. This is the official release of the RFP. Any parties who downloaded the previous versions of the RFP should destroy all copies. All relevant solicitation documents will be made available for download from USCB's website at http://www.census.gov/procur/www/clerical.
