Description

J- It is the Government's intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with US Filter/Process Water, North Little Rock, Arkansas, to provide a water system service agreement and supplies to maintain alchemy brand high purity water system located at the Jefferson Laboratories, FDA/ARL in Jefferson Arkansas. FOB Point Destination, with services on-site. A request for Quotations is not available. This is a firm fixed price requirement. Simplified procurement procedures will be utilized. Placement of an order is subject to the availability of funds. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. See Numbered Note(s) 22 and 23. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and Subpart 5.203 (b) & (c) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ); a written solicitation will not be issued. The Food and Drug is soliciting for US Filter/Process Water Service Maintenance /Agreement to cover Alchemy brand high purity water system description as follows: This is a 100% set-aside for small business, firm fixed price requirement. FOB Point: Destination. Interested offers shall submit descriptive literature along with their cost quotation. Award will be made to the vendor who submits the lowest price system that meets all technical specifications. The Government may make its decision on the basis of initial quotations received and not have discussions. Therefore each initial quotation should contain the offer's best terms from both a price and technical standpoint. This Request for Quotation number R-3000-00-3. APPLICABILITY OF FAR PROVISIONS: the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by references.
