- This is an amendment to RFQ F23606-03-Q-0001 Vertical Carousels. The purpose of this modification is to clarify the requirement post site visit, and to correct a response date error on modification 2 of the combined synopsis/solicitation. The site visit attendees were: Midwest Power Files, Ziniz Inc., Automated Business Systems, and Alberici Constructors. Questions and answers follow: Q-Who will provide transportation from old site to new site? A-The vendor will supply all transportation from the old site to the new site to include a forklift if it is necessary. Q-Will there be any obstructions around the carousels? A-The area will be obstruction free. Q-How much do the units weigh? A-At least 6000 pounds each. Q-Can Government employees assist with labor if necessary? A-No, Government employees can not assist in any way. The required response date was posted on the second modification as 21 October 2002, please note that the correct response date is 28 October 2002. Signed and dated quotes must be submitted to 509 CONS/LGCB, 727 Second Street, Suite 124A, Whiteman AFB MO 65305-5344, ATTN: Leah Caldwell, not later than 3:00 pm local time on 28 October 2002.
