Description
The Ogden Air Logistic Center is seeking potential offerors for the Environmental Construction/Services Program. The objective of this program is to remedy environmental contamination problems on sites located on Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, or on adjoining properties such as the Utah Test and Training Range, Little Mountain Test Annex, and Wyoming Photographic Station. The contractors shall be required to furnish personnel and equipment to respond to requests for construction of remediation systems, long term monitoring, long term operations and maintenance, and time critical/emergency remediation/cleanup actions on such sites as landfills, chemical disposal sites, spill sites, fire training areas, and such other environmental operational areas to include paint booths, hangers and base infrastructure environmental improvements. The total number and types of sites will remain undefined, because the office of Environmental management is continually identifying additional potential hazardous waste sites. The Contractors must provide engineering services either directly, or indirectly by subcontracting with established engineering firms that are required to support the remediation program. Such engineering services include chemical, civil, electrical (including instrumentation), geotechnical, mechanical, and structural engineering. The government anticipates contract award March 2004 with a period of performance of one Basic year, plus four (4) one-year options. All interested offerors must provide an overview about their company, previous history, and whether the company is a small business concern or 8 (A) participant (use SIC Code 8744, 500 employees). Direct questions to Valerie Millis at (801) 777-2477 or E-mail ValerieMillis@hill.af.com Submit written responses no later than 19 November 2002 to OO-ALC, 6038 Aspen Ave. (Bldg 1289), Hill AFB, UT 84056-5805, Attn: Valerie Millis. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice.
