- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13.5). The required service is to provide the operation and management of a professionally structured writing skills program at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI). This is an academically structured writing program specifically designed to improve the writing skills of DEOMI's Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) course students. This program shall provide students with a foundation of writing skills to prepare them for the written communication requirements they are expected to encounter as Equal Opportunity Advisors. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance is 01 Jan 2003 - 31 Dec 2003. Four one-year options may be awarded. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the options. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0012 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 8748, business size of $5.0M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 611710. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at www.CCR.GOV. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Oct 02 at www.eps.gov.
