- Solicitation (RFQ) Number: N00189-03-T-0014 Description: The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract (Base Year and 4 One Year Option Periods) for the maintenance and repair of athletic equipment as required by the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department (MWR), Naval Support Activity. This service will take place at the following locations: Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Little Creek, Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Atlantic Fleet Headquarters Support Activity, Fleet Combat Training Center Atlantic (FCTCL) Dam Neck, and Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA) Northwest Annex. Specifications for the required contract line items will be detailed in the solicitation. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 811490 (Standard Industrial Code (SIC) equivalent is 7699) and FSC Code J078 takes precedence for the subject requirement. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00189-03-T-0014 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items" (Clinger-Cohen). A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 28 October 2002 by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: http: // neco.navy.mil. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
