Description

The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC), Unites States Section, requires the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and coordination required for construction a new 8-foot chain link perimeter fence; and construction of an asphalt parking area and driveway. Also included is the removal of existing chain link fence, posts, footings and gates; demolition and removal of broken concrete slabs; removal of concrete steps; and removal of meteorological equipment. The work under the contract is to be completed in 120 days calendar from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The work is at the IBWC Presidio Field Office located at Highway 170 at Dod Street, Presidio, Texas 79845. Tentative dates for issuing and closing RFQ no. IBM02Q0013 are August 21, 2002, and September 12, 2002, respectively. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Plans and specifications will be available for inspection, without charge, at the International Boundary and Water Commission, U. S. Section, The Commons, Building C, Suite 224, 4171 North Mesa Street, El Paso, Texas 79902-1441. Requests for RFQ no. IBM02Q0013, specifications and drawings should be submitted in writing by mail or by e-mail Attn: Irma Gurrola, at the preceding address, or to email address: igurrola@ibwc.state.gov. There will be no charge for the solicitation packet. Offers are solicited from small business concerns. Offers received from businesses that are not small businesses concerns will not be considered. The 2002 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235990 for ALL Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The associated small business size standard is 12 million dollars annual average gross receipts for the past three years. See Note 1.
