Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (ELC) intends to award a purchase order to ABS Quality Evaluations for transition and certification to the ISO 9001-2000 standard along with subsequent surveillance audits. The Coast Guard YARD is currently certified through ABS Quality Evaluations. It has been determined in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii) that negotiations will be conducted with only ABS Quality Evaluations. The current certification expires in January 2003. See Numbered Note 2. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of liens or credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
