Description
This is a sole source, repair requirement for NSN 1615-01-465-0647BZ, P/N HTC-H53-12DB-02, Vibration Absorber, ACFT: MH053J/M helicopter. This requirement is for a quantity of 38 Basic period and 38 EA per Option years I-IV each. Destination: Robins AFB GA, Delivery: 45 Days after receipt of Reparable or receipt or order, whichever is later. Firm fixed price contract to Cage Code 0YRF8, Hood Technology Corporation, 1750 Country Club Road, Hood River, OR 97031. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A complete data package is not available to the government. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation; request a solicitation from http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 14 Nov 02. Approximate response date is 08 Nov 02. All potential offerors should contact the buyer, Celeste R. Mullis at 478-926-7272, for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
