Description: NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcemnt constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army Contracting Agency intends to solicit Power Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc., 368 West County Rd. D, New Brighton, MN 55112, to acquire supplies necessary to provide support t o BIDS (Biological Detection System). Supplies and equipment must be compatible with existing BIDS, as modified. PEM is being solicited pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1)(FAR Part 6.302-1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services wil l satisfy agency requirements. A search for alternate vendors has previously been sought via electronic EDI/EDA, Requests for Quotations,yielding no responses.
