Description
NA Department of Defense, Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Office (SADBU) Mentor-Prot?g? Program and Office Support Requirement. Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Office is resoliciting a contract as a competitive 8(a) set-aside in accordance with FAR 19.8. The intent is to seek a contractor to provide professional services and systems (on-site/off-site) support of the management, implementation, and execution of the DoD Mentor Prot?g? Program and other SADBU programs with a clear nexus with the Mentor Prot?g? Program. In ad dition to the professional services in support of the DoD Mentor Prot?g? Program, the OSD/SADBU office may rely on contractor support to perform the following tasks and activities: a) Answers telephone calls from the public and small businesses pertaining to the DoD Small Business Programs, b) Process payments to mentor-prot?g? program participants, c) Analyze data to support program requirements and maintains the SADBU website, and d) Plans and executes meetings, roundtables and conferences/symposia, as re quired. The contract will be a single award for a base period of twelve (12 months) with two one-year options. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued and posted on the World Wide Web (www) o/a 15 November 2002. Interested parties may gain a ccess to the solicitation o/a 15 November 2002 via the internet from the DCC-W homepage, http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil. Companies not possessing internet access should submit a written request (via facsimile/email) for a copy of the solicitation. Request F or Proposal (RFP) No. DASW01-03-R-0001A to Defense Contracting Command-Washington, ATTN: Mr. Harry W. Shatto, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 2301-5200. No telephone requests will be honored. The solicitation will be issued as a one hundred percent (1 00%) 8(a) set-aside.
