Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Weapons and Materials Division intends to solicite on a sole source basis to Cercom, Inc. The contractor shall provide 1) PAD SiC-N Ceramic Tile, 0.750 x 4 x 4 inch, PN 024.2.218-44.750, qty 100 each; and 2) PAD SiC- N Ceramic Tile 0.500 x 4 x 4 inch, PN 024.2.218-44.500, qty 100 each. These PAD SiC-N Tiles represent a continuation of testing programs utilizing this specific grade ceramic tiles. Substitution of other vendor tiles will result in compromise of ballistic performance and will impact current armor system development. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the agency. No telephone requests will be honored. See numbered note 22.
