Description

The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to issue a sole source orders against Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-02-G-3104 to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101; Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-02-G-3053 to Pratt & Whitney (P&W), 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108; and Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-02-G-3236 to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), One Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215. The Lockheed Martin order will require them to conduct studies to investigate the technical feasibility, operational implications and cost associated with increasing STOVL Vertical Landing Bring Back Performance. Lockheed Martin will be supported by P&W and GEAE. Lockheed Martin, P&W and GEAE are the only responsible sources capable of supporting this requirement.
