- Description
- On behalf of Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to issue a sole source order against Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00019-02-G-3104 to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101. This order will require Lockheed Martin to conduct a study to investigate if the JSF Air Vehicle (CTOL and CV variants) is capable of operating from runways with poor braking action. The study shall include the technical feasibility, operational implications and cost associated with integrating a Drag Chute (or a device with similar effect) on the JSF. Lockheed Martin is the only responsible source capable of supporting this requirement. Any programmatic questions should be addressed to Colonel Rune Fagerli at Rune.Fagerli@jsf.mil. Contractual questions should be addressed to Ms. Michele McDermott at Michele.McDermott@jsf.mil
