- This notice is modified to include the solicitation posting date for Request for Quotes. The solicitation will be posted on this website on or around September 11, 2002. The USDA-Forest Service, Southern Region 8 is soliciting quotes for Exclusive-Use, Type III Helicopter services for prescribed burning and fire suppression for one (1) year with a two (2) optional year renewal period. Designated base will be at Croatan helibase located in New Bern, North Carolina. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-AUG-2002).
