Description

This is a notice of intent to award, on a sole-source basis, for commercial items in accordance with FAR part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This action is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures including provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The place of performance is the Federal Medical Center Butner, North Carolina. Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 FMC Butner intends to issue to OPUS Healthcare Solutions, a sole-source purchase order for the continued licensure and software support for an OPUS Laboratory Information System. The Support agreement includes full service support for routine and non-routine software service, labor, expenses and parts.
