A three-year best estimated quantity (BEQ), firm-fixed price requirements contract is contemplated for NSN: 2840-01-326-4066NZ; Pratt & Whitney P/N 4075497-Rev R; NOUN: Afterburner Flameholder; QTY: FY03, 689 ea BEQ, FY04, 400 ea BEQ, FY05, 383 ea BEQ; Required Delivery: To be sited on each order Destination; Ship to: FB2039, Tinker AFB; Size and Dimensions: diameter 25.88 inches, circumference 81.26 inches; Predominant Material: Titanium; Form, Fit and Function: Used to hold flame direction for augmentation; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/220E engines; Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number and further qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker, AFB 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Anticipated Award date is on or before 24 Jan 2003. Availability of specifications, plans, drawings, or other technical data. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable specifications and drawings with the solicitation. These contract documents may be examined or obtained at www.dodteds.com. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures will be used in awarding this contract. Send Proposals via fax, 405-734-8776 or email, melinda.infante@tinker.af.mil. Past performance will be evaluated using (1) data independently obtained from government and commercial sources (CPARS, RYG, PAS, Dun and Bradstreet, etc.), and/or (2) interviews with government and commercial sources. Award will be made to the qualified, responsive and responsible contractor who provides the required NSN/P/N identified in the RFP at the lowest price and is technically acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for solicitations may be faxed to (405) 734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
