Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP= ), is soliciting quotations for the purchase of wood poles, two different lengths. SCIP is located at 13805 North Arizona Boulevard, Coolidge, Arizona 85228. The wood poles, power line service, to be Douglas Fir, White Fir, Lodgepole Pine, Western Red Cedar, Southern Yellow Pine or Ponderosa Pine, in accordance with American Wood-Preservers' Associatio= n (AWPA) Standard C4-95, specifications and dimensions for wood poles as approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard 0= 5.1. Pole drilling, gains and identification shall be in accordance with U.S= . Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Utilities Service (REA) Specifications for poles as found in REA Specification M20, "Pole Frami= ng Guide". REA Specification can be found in the USDA Rural Utilities Ser= vice Bulletin 50-3, "Standard D-804, Specifications and Drawings for 12.5/7.= 2 KV Line Construction". Poles shall be Class 2 with full length Pentachlorophenol treatment. Poles shall be treated by pressure method= (Per AWPA C4) with a solution of Pentachlorophenol (Per AWPA P8) in a T= ype A heavy petroleum solvent (Per AWPA P9) with a final retention of at le= ast 0.45 pounds per cubic foot for Southern Yellow Pine, or 0.8 pounds per cubic foot for Western Red Cedar, or 0.6 pounds per cubic foot for all other wood species per applicable AWPA Standards, including but not lim= ited to AWPA Standards C1 and C4. Poles are to be in the following lengths:= 40 foot, (200 Each) and 45 foot (50 Each). Poles are to be delivered to S= CIP, Coolidge, Arizona on a SELF-UNLOADING truck. Coolidge is located in Pi= nal County in central Arizona. Partial shipments are acceptable, please giv= e estimated ship date(s). Please note, SCIP reserves the right to evalua= te the quotes on delivery time. INTERESTED PARTIES MUST RESPOND WITH THEI= R QUOTATION, NO HARD COPY OF THIS REQUEST WILL BE MAILED/FAXED.
