Description
The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service inte= nds to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Doonwood Engineering Govworks/DOI intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR 1= 3.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.=A0 This non-competitive acti= on is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of Inter= ior Franchise Fund on behalf of Department of the Army, Headquarters, 9 (superscript: th) Regional Support Command.=A0 The 9(superscript: th) Regional Support Command has a requirement to repair an oil/water separ= ator located in Hilo, Hawaii and replace/upgrade an oil/water separator loca= ted in Maui, Hawaii.=A0 The only system that meets all of our requirements = is the PS International Model 900. Supply and install a PS International Model= PSRC 900 Oil/water separator 3'X4'X10', 900 gallons flow rate of 40GPM,= 304 stainless steel container quick release hinged hatch covers, polypropyl= ene media polishing coalescer to 20 microns, and high oil level alarm, weig= ht 1,900 lbs.=A0 Designed to achieve free oil and grease effluent of 10PPM= or less.=A0 Supply and install (1) ea. 1 =BD HP Electric diaphragm pump wi= th suction pipe and surface skimmer intake.=A0 120 Volts rated at 40GPM.=A0= Supply and install necessary electrical ciruit for diaphragm pump.=A0 Supply a= nd install necessary suction and discharge piping.=A0 Supply and install a= ll necessary mechanical connections. =A0A. The scope of work is to remove = and replace the existing high pressure pump for the Model 10000 Alkota High= pressure washer.=A0 This replacement pump must be rated at 1400 PSI, an= d must be equivalent to or better than the original equipment. B. =A0Contracto= r shall furnish and install the following pads and filters, and will prov= ide spares as shown. (1) Install one set of 2 each HCA2 absorption pads for= the series 1 tank and provide one spare set (2) Install one each HCA3 oil absorber filter and provide one spare, and (3) install one set of 7 eac= h polishing filters and provide one spare set.=A0 C. Contractor will furn= ish, connect, and install all necessary PVC piping required for the drain li= ne on the Series One Tank.=A0 D.=A0 Contractor will furnish and install a = new level float for the filter bag sump pump.=A0 E.=A0 Contractor will star= t up and test all components and systems.=A0 All fittings must be inspected and = any cracked or leaking fittings will be replaced.=A0 The Contractor will ma= ke any additional adjustments or repairs to bring the equipment to fully operational conditioned, IAW the manufacturer's specifications. F. Contractor will provide two sets of manuals for the operation and maintenance of this equipment.=A0 Upon completion of all repairs the contractor will provide a hands-on-training session in which he will demonstrate the proper operation and all required operator maintenance = of the equipment, including changing of filters.=A0 This contractor origin= ally installed the present existing oil/water separator in Hilo and is the o= nly local authorized distributor for the repairs. Contractor will be responsible for clean-up, and proper disposal of all waste produced as = a result of these repairs.=A0 This includes the disposal of used filters = and associated material.=A0 Contractor will pick up solid wastes, and place= in covered containers that are regularly emptied.=A0 Contractor will dispo= se of solid waste generated at the project site in accordance with the local government and will leave the work area clean at the completion of the project.=A0=A0 Contractor is responsible for disposing of chemical and = other hazardous waste in accordance with local, state and federal regulations= .
