Description

The solicitation should be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about 10/31/2002 TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of the furnishing of all labor, machinery, equipment, materials, and incidentals for the clearing, removing, and disposing of trees, brush and vegetation from 8.98 acres of the Slyder Farmstead and 3.33 acres in the Rose Gap area at Gettysburg National Military Park, Adams County, Pennsylvania. The work also includes the cutting and removal by sectioning of 103 trees and branches from areas of Rose Woodlot, Rose Gap and Slyder Farmstead to ensure the protection of monuments, historic fences and other associated historic features on the battlefield. All work will include installation of erosion control measures, obtaining all required permits and seeding and mulching of all disturbed areas. Grinding of remaining stumps will be required at specified areas to allow mowing of areas. Wage Determination No: 1994-2455 of the Service Contract Act will apply.
