- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Class of Delivery/Task Orders against Basic Order Agreement N00091-02-G-3041 with McDonnell Douglass Corporation a subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, on a sole source basis for the period of 13 Nov 2002 through 12 November 2003. It is estimated the total orders issued for this period will be approximately $15 million dollars. Data is proprietary and is currently not available to the government. The following types of supplies and/or services are intended to be provided: Change kits plus related engineering, logistics, prototyping and testing of the change kits to retrofit T-45 aircraft and simulators; change kits plus related engineering, logistics, prototyping and testing to retrofit changes to existing spares required as a direct result of changes to the T-45 aircraft and simulators; contractor installation of change kits; engineering, logistics, prototyping, and testing associated with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for aircraft, simulators, and related equipment; spare, repair parts, and peculiar parts required for the T-45 aircraft and simulators; new peculiar ground support equipment required as a result for changes to the T-45 aircraft and simulators; change kits plus related engineering, logistics, prototyping and testing of the change kits to retrofit changes to Ground Support Equipment (GSE) resulting from changes to the T-45 aircraft and simulators; logistic support analysis on new or modified parts installed as a result of change kits; material/services to repair, modify, and/or return to ready-for-issue condition parts from the T-45 aircraft and simulator; technical studies to support design and development of change kits for the T-45 aircraft and simulators; technical studies to provide up-to-date information on the operation and maintenance of the T-45 aircraft and simulators; mishap laser tracking and repair surveys for the T-45 aircraft; and on-site engineering and technical assistance in support of aircraft engineering investigations, simulators or logistic studies at all T-45 sites. Technical data in support of the above efforts will also be delivered. Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply.
