Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure FY 03 Design Agent engineering requirements in support of the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Program and the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) from Raytheon Systems Company (RSC) of Tucson, Arizona. The effort includes technical and engineering services required to maintain current weapon system capability as well as resolve design issues through design, systems, software maintenance, reliability, maintainability, quality assurance and logistics engineering services. RSC is the qualified producer of the RAM and Phalanx Weapon Systems and the only known source that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to satisfactory meet Fleet requirements.
