- Description
- MARKEY SURVEY FOR INFRARED LASER POINTER/ILLUMINATOR. The Navy is issuing this Request for Information /Sources Sought synopsis as part of a market survey. Sources are sought that can provide an Infrared Laser Pointer/Illuminator for use with Forward Air Controllers (FAC) mission needs. Non-Developmental Item (NDI)/Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) battery operated systems capable of operating in conjunction with military Night Vision Devices and without any detectable visible emissions are sought. The system should have very low divergence and should be of adequate power to point at a target over several kilometers. The systems should be manportable and powered by commonly used batteries. Interested vendors are asked to provide a description and technical specifications of the laser(s). Availability information is critical concern. Pricing information should also be provid ed.
