Description

Dockside Repairs to the NOAA Ship MCARTHUR. Vessel characteristics : length 53.3 m; draft 3.7 m; hull - welded steel/ice strengthened; displacement 1,071 tons; gross tonnage - 854; net tonnage 207. Additional characteristics can be found at http://www.moc.noaa.gov/ar/ Work will include, but not be limited to: Staging, wrapping, blasting and preserving the main mast; blasting and applying non-skid to the flying bridge, main deck, fantail deck; and removing to shop, blasting, test and preserving the port and starboard anchor chains. Anticipated period of performance February 10, 2003 -March 28, 2003. Work to be done dockside at the NOAA Marine Operations Center - Pacific, at 1801 Fairview Ave. E., Seattle, WA. The vessel is not available for inspection prior to the solicitation closing. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Size limit for small businesses is 1,000 employees.
