Description
NA As part our continuing effort to provide the latest information to industry our pervious responses to the following three questions has been revised. These revisions are based on discussions with our customers and further analysis of the Market Survey. 42. Q: Why are the operational controls required to be on the rear for the 18? and 21? Color Flat Panel Displays? A: The requirement that the 18? CFPD be the same display module used as part of the Large Screen Display, (tiled) will be deleted. However to minimize logistical considerations it is desired that the 18 inch CPFD and the LSD 18 inch module be identical. The SOW will be revised to delete the requirement for controls on the rear for the V1 and V2 18? and 21? CFPDs. The controls shall be placed on the front for the V1 and V2 18? and 21? CFPD. See paragraphs 3.1.4.11 and 3.1.4.12. 57. Q: Can the requirement for a 3.5? floppy disk drive be removed from the NCU-RISC? A: The requirement for an internal 3.5? floppy can be satisfied by an external 3.5 inch 1.44 MB floppy disk drive. 141. Q: Can the requirement for dual link DVI-I be changed to single link DVI-I for the 18? CFPD? A: Yes single link is more currently more widely available in the commercial marketplace.
