Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to procure maintenance services from FrontRange Solutions, Inc. on a sole source basis. The IRS is currently using their KnowlixFrontline License application to assist in providing services to IRS Agency Wide Shared Services (AWSS) employees through the Employee Resource Center (ERC). The application allows Human Resource personnel to use this web-based application to access and respond to trouble call tickets phoned in by employees. Inquiries usually consist of employees attempting to obtain information about their retirement, payroll, personal benefits, etc. This is a proprietary software product and therefore, only the original manufacturer can provide maintenance. As a result, the IRS intends to procure the subject services on a sole source basis. All responsible parties that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by the date specified (October 30, 2002). All quotes shall include FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone), GSA Contract Number, if applicable, business size and payment terms. All questions must be submitted in writing.
