- CONTACT Bill Walker, COR, AT 530-622-5061 WITH TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. THIS SOLICITATION WAS PREVIOUSLY CANCELLED WITH MODIFICATION 01. IT IS NOW RE-ISSUED WITH THE SAME SOLICITATION NUMBER BUT WITH REVISED ISSUANCE AND RESPONSE DATES. The intent of this solicitation is to construct a 36" wide equestrian and mountain bike trail. Major construction items include 18,623 L.F. of tread construction, 1877 L.F. of tread restoration, 7 switchbacks, and construction of a 20' equestrian bridge. The government estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The estimated start work date is June 2, 2003. There will be no pre-bid meeting or tour. Interested vendors are encouraged to visit the project site this fall as there will be snow covering the site next spring. The project area may be accessed in two locations. Travel east on Hwy 50 from Placerville, California approximately 47 miles to road 11N15. Park at the end of the road and cross the bridge to Sta.0+00. Continue east on Hwy 50 to road 11N09 (Sierra at Tahoe Resort) and approximately 1.0 miles on 11N09 to access the project site at Sta. 197+00. The solicitation package will be available on the internet on approximately April 1, 2003. Responses are due on May 1, 2003 at close of business (4:30 pm).
