Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to solicit a quotation, on a sole source basis from Open Text, Inc. BASIS Division, 5080 Tuttle Crossing Blvd, M/S 7, Dublin, OH 43016 for existing commercial off-the-shelf software license renewals, upgrades, enhancements, technical support BASIS & BASIS TECHLAB, BASIS & BASIS WEB SERVER gateway upgrades with telephone support included effective from 11/01/2002 through 10/31/2003. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and an oral quotation will be solicited on or about 10/21/2002. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to 41U>S>C> 253(c)(1). Qualified vendors have 15 days from the date of this synopsis to submit capability statements delineating their ability to provide this on-line license and backfiles. Such qualifications will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether r not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. No solicitation exists.
