- Description
- The Federal Correctional Complex in Coleman, Florida, intends to award a supply/service contract for a coffee service to include equipment, product and service, capable of serving approximately 4000 patrons per day. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded under the simplified acquisition procedures. Vendor will supply, install and maintain twenty-one (21) coffee machines. The equipment will be in four (4) service locations, all within close proximity of each other. Locations to include all of FCC Coleman (Camp, Low, Medium, USP). All repairs must be completed within twenty-four (24) hours of notification. Vendor must provide emergency service twenty-four (24) hours per day at no extra charge. Coffee must be concentrated, freeze dried, premium roast, with disposable packaging to prepare an eight (8) ounce medium strength, caffeinated beverage. No metal or glass containers. Delivery schedule of the coffee concentrate will be weekly. Period of performance will be from date of Award (approximately November 15, 2002) through September 30, 2003. The solicitation will be available to interested parties on or about October 17, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration, Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov. The mailing of hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Estimated date of receipt of proposals is November 1, 2002. This solicitation is unrestricted.
