Description

DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to VACUUM ATMOSPHERES, 4652 W. Rosecrans Avenue, Hawthorne CA 90251. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 334516. The following item will be procured: CLIN 0001, One (1) each Vacuum System 34599 consisting of the following components: a) VAC 100031, Nexus Assembly, std, 2 Port, S, 110 VAC, 60Hz, AD; b) VAC 2682-2, qty 1pr, Butyl Rubber Gloves, L&R, 0.030?; c) VAC 100618, qty 1, Vacuum Pump, 6.9 CFM; d) VAC 100088, qty 1, Moisture Analyzer Assy; e) VAC 100015, qty 1, Drawer, Utility, Nexus; f) VAC 016984A, qty 1, Dual Pressure Relief Bubbler; g) VAC 023030-01. qty 1, Shelves, Telescopic; h) VAC 100630, qty 1, Static Eliminator, 40?, Single Length; i) VAC 100624, qty 1, Light Assy, Top, with Fluorescent Light; j) ?On-Site? Start up and training. CLIN 0002, One (1) lot, Shipping and Handling. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Anticipated Award date is 22 Oct 2002. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 18 Oct 2002. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
